Sam Pollom, JD, CPA, is the Senior Case Advisor at BGBC, where he brings a wealth of knowledge in tax law and tax procedures as applied to examinations by the IRS and state taxing authorities. He works closely with clients on tax controversies and tax collection matters, as well as guiding them through the tax collection process and working with the IRS and the various states on their behalf. Additionally, Sam provides consulting services to clients on structuring businesses, business transactions, and operations management.

Sam is a graduate of Indiana University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business and Doctor of Jurisprudence. Before joining BGBC, Sam spent six years with a Big Four public accounting firm where he served in the Real Estate Group, and later in the International Tax Group. In his over 20 years of experience, Sam has conducted significant tax research and constantly reviews and interprets new tax laws passed by Congress in order to advise his clients and colleagues.

Sam is known for his integrity and consistency. As an active member in the community, Sam regularly participates in speaking engagements about tax law, professional responsibilities and ethics. He also conducts training seminars for BGBC employees and other professionals. Sam is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana CPA Society, and the Indiana Association for Corporate Renewal. In his free time, you will find Sam fishing, hiking, and camping.
