Maggie de Guzman, EA serves as a Tax Manager. She specializes in international tax, specifically in US filings for international corporations.
Maggie was inspired to go into accounting in high school when one of her accounting teachers mentored her and set up various internships to try out the field. She went on to receive an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Adirondack Community College and then a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Siena College.
Maggie has 15 years of experience that consists of time spent in public accounting and industry. She joined the firm as a Supervisor in 2019 and was later promoted to Manager in 2021. She attributes her success to hard work and determination.
Maggie is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. Originally from Upstate NY, she now resides in Concord North Carolina with her husband and four kids. Outside of work, she is a big sports mom and enjoys cheering her kids on in baseball, soccer, and basketball!
